Welcome to Amadigi - our 50th registered member.

I realise that this forum has been quiet of late - and I as forum administrator take some responsibility for that. I did set the forum and did contribute a lot of posts at the start - driven in the main in response to the lack of dialogue with SLP management. Things have changed with the second new management regime - the only common factor in all the management changes is Nigel Wimpenny.

I also think, in a strange sort of way, the fact that the forum is so quiet is quite a good thing. It would seem that folks are by and large happy with their caravan and lodge owning lot - or am I mistaken?

So come on folks - let us here your views, complaints etc. Even better let us here the good things about ownership on an SLP site. We know that SLP read this forum, so let us know what you are thinking, upset about or happy about.

Regards
FB

Ok the forum has been quiet of late so here we go;

Positives:
Staff, location,clean site, lodges depreciating in value slower than I thought they would,site maintenance, internet access, owners get togethers, bar menu change and future digital tv.

Negatives:
Poor existing tv reception and limited channels, pub could do with even a minor makeover,fees high, utility unit rates higher than norm.,pub entertainment,lodge power supplies.

Take some beating ive been to a few so called top sites and lodges and this is up there with the best, long my it continue.

Great post and input.

It will be interesting to see what the proposed site fees will be this year with inflation being so low.

Also, wondering if the digital TV switchover will work with the existing tv aerials?
