We will need to revarnish our lodge soon. As this is the first time we will be doing a revarnish can anyone advise on the likely cost of employing someone to do this? Grateful for any ball park figures as we'd really rather not do this ourselves!

Ruby Sheen have revarnished some lodges on Fallbarrow, he's seem a nice guy and the results look good - no harm in ringing him up for a quote, you not obliged to take it further.

Kathy, my name is Tom Nicholas from Ruby Sheen. We are the company maintaining lodges/cabins on Fallbarrow Park. We have done 4 this year (revarnishing) and have also done various deckings (cleaning/staining). We can revarnish the lodge from £975 based on applying 2 coats of Teknos Aquatop, which is the manufacturers recommendation.
