Piped gas

For owners on Fallbarrow Park, Bowness on Windermere

Piped gas

Postby Fallbarrow on Sun Jan 18, 2009 9:47 am

I noticed on one of my frequent wanders around Fallbarrow that some of the new lodges have piped gas rather than the bottled stuff most of us use. I also know that SLP installed piped gas to the lodges at Limefitt.

The gas is paid for via meter.

Is this something we should now be pushing for with SLP?

I would be interested to hear from any owners (on Fallbarrow or Limefitt) who have piped gas. Is it any cheaper (doubtful)?

Regards

YES YES YES - Indeed before Redwood was developed we asked that same question ourselves, several times. I think the response was something to do with the hilly nature of the park which made it a non goer for Lakeside, however don't quote me!! Couldn't understand though (admittedly have never enquired for an explanation) why the Redwood Lodges were provided with piped gas at the development stage, but not the new Cherry Lane Caravan development they put in across the road - at the same time?
