Wednesday 23 July we had Surveyors clambering around the wood attached to our pitch, the green adjacent to Fallbarrow Hall and down the steps and wooded patch that leads to the lake shore (next to LS1). There is a silver stud circled with red paint at the top of steps, which we think was left by them. Enquired what they were doing as they were working in and around our driveway but, either truthfully or diplomatically, replied that they didn't know what the objective was, only that it had been requested by the Park. Didn't have time to ask at Reception before we left so....
Does anyone know anything??
Are they planning a lodge development by the Hall??

A lot more than that!!! That's what worries me!!! Besides it would be sacrilege to put a lodge development on the grounds around the Hall. Fallbarrow Park is lovely as it is, much more development and it will become a Lodge City that looses its character and doesn't breath - too claustrophobic!!

mmm possible ... good one must admit ... though I am still wearing the shoes I borrowed from you a while back FB - those that belong to 'Doubting Hector', so before I return them I'll wait a while before I'm convinced it's not a new development on the green space around Fallbarrow Hall!!!
