Food for Thought

Fact: We pay Rates in our hometowns - we are eligable to vote in the local elections.

SO...

As we pay Rates in our holiday hometowns - shouldn't we be eligable to vote in the local elections there as well ??

mmm, I know but interesting senario I thought ..... Begs the question, once again, what does our Site Fees actually pay for us as individuals. If they have to offload some of the burden of the Rates onto the owners then why not just incorporate it into the site fees and be done with it, rather than the extra admin costs to make it a separate issue.
