To manage a Park do you require any form of qualification ...is there a profssional standard to reach covering health & safety etc ?

Qualifications

Postby Fallbarrow on Sun Feb 03, 2008 1:33 pm

There are lots of vocational qualifications that SLP staff and management could go for including Health and Safety Certificates, customer service (don't laugh) and construction such as CITO.

Hell, they could even get somebody to pay for them (Train to Gain).

But of course, it would also mean people having to be away from the sites while they do the training, and with the current staff shortages that ain't going to happen. Plus when they get trained, they would of course want more money, so it definitely ain't going to happen.

You seem to be suggesting that we'd notice the difference

Duh, I never thought of that.

I have been away on business for a week or 2 and it is good to see some more owners have joined the forum. Regarding qualified Park management it was a pleasant supprise to see in the news that ALEX at WXB has gained an award and is one in only a handfull in the country to be awarded it. WELL DONE THAT MAN !

It was sad to see Karen in Office admin has now left but WXB are staying true to form in sending out reminder letters for outstanding debts, that will keep those cheeky chappies happy at Natland.

I am now looking forward to the new season 8)

Credit where credit is due

I have been the first to criticise SLP management but I will give some credit here:

That is of course assuming that the two staff members are still at WXB
