This forum has been recomended to lodge owners on Limefitt Park who have been associated with the 'Lodgers Forum' since May 2004.

The Lodgers are a peaceful and law abiding group of lakeland valley owners but have been forced to take up 'arms' to fight many issues which the SLP managment team have until recently failed to acknowledge.

We welcome the recent change in attitude we assume has been driven by the culture of the new SLP owners. We still have many issues to resolve but in January 2008 one major step forward has been the provision of tank gas to the long suffering owners of lodger consigned to using bottles by the Morphet era.

We believe our actions will ultimately help professionalise what is effectively a new frontier in leisure property ownership were previous park owners have been allowed to exploit the market and secure unreasonable fees

Well done in winning your campaign for tank gas on site. Let us hope as you say that it is the start of a new more co-operative attitude from SLP management.

interesting to see that you have got an agreement for mains gas.
Parts of White Cross are still on bottles and I know of several owners that will be interested in your success.

Can you encourage the other owners at WXB you mention to join the forum?

It was verbal and not in the contract you signed so what you were told by the salesman is worthless (unless of course you were wary enough to get it in writing!)

I would just like to stick up for the sales guy who sold us our lodge (Lee Bishop). Everything he promised to get changed in our lodge before buying was done and we got quite a lot of stuff added in writing on the sales contract. But guess what, Lee is no longer with SLP. Wonder why?

I will certainly spread the word regarding the Forum.
Many owners on White Cross in the Langdale and Grasmere developements are on bottled gas , the new Grasmere area is on mains, some owners were promised mains when they bought and I am sure once they find out that Limefitt is to get mains they will they will not be happy.
Gas and Electric has it seems always been an issue, wrong reads over pricing etc, seems to have been better on the last 2 bills I required, the read numbers correspond and follow on.
apparently it was the annual Staff conference last Friday, asked if it was enjoyable one employee in a white van smiled " no comment " smiled again " spent most of the next day with bad guts, they were giving away out of date beer" ! he then ran off into a lodge, saying " I'm leaving soon thank god".
